These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you") and Amazia Technologies (OPC) Private Limited ("Chitravala," "Company," "we," "us") for your access to and use of chitravala.com and all related services, features and sub-domains (together, the "Platform" or "Services").

By accessing, browsing or using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Acceptable Use Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. Eligibility

To use Chitravala you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age. Under-18s may use Chitravala only through a parent's or guardian's account, under their supervision. The parent or guardian is responsible for that use.
• Be able to enter into a binding contract under Indian law and any law that applies to you
• Not have been previously banned or suspended from Chitravala
• Use the Platform only for lawful purposes that comply with these Terms and all applicable laws

2. Description of Service

Chitravala is an AI studio for Indian celebrations. You describe what you want by typing or speaking, choose a template or effect, and optionally add photos. We use AI to make:

• Images — invites, greetings and posts for birthdays, weddings, festivals and other occasions, in several sizes (for example square posts and WhatsApp Status / Stories)
• Short videos — including turning an image into a short moving video
• Voice notes — spoken invitations and greetings in Indian languages, using synthetic voices
• Photo effects — such as old-photo restoration, colourising and art portraits

Names, dates, places, prices and handles are placed on your design as editable text layers drawn by us. You can change them in the editor. You can download your creations, share them on WhatsApp and elsewhere, share them with a link (/s/<code>), and submit them to the public Explore gallery.

3. Account

• You sign in with Google. (Phone or email one-time-code sign-in may be offered later.)
• You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your Google account secure
• You must not share your account or create accounts to get extra free coins
• Notify us immediately at support@chitravala.com if you suspect unauthorised access

4. Your Content and Consent

4.1 What You Give Us

"Inputs" means everything you give us: photos, reference photos, text, template fields, voice recordings and scripts. You must have all the rights needed to use your Inputs.

4.2 Photos of People

If a photo shows a person, you confirm that you have that person's consent (or, for a child, the consent of their parent or guardian) to use their photo and likeness to make your creation. Where the app asks you to confirm consent, we record your confirmation. You must not upload photos of people to make them appear to do or say something they did not, or in a way that would embarrass, harm or mislead.

4.3 Moderation

We check text, uploads and results with automated moderation. We may refuse to make, or block, anything that appears to break our Acceptable Use Policy. If we block a creation, the coins are returned. Automated checks are not perfect: they can miss things and can occasionally block something harmless. You remain responsible for what you make and share.

5. Ownership and Licences

5.1 Your Inputs and Creations

• You own your Inputs.
• As between you and us, you own the creations ("Outputs") made for you, subject to applicable law and any third-party rights (for example the rights of people shown in your photos).
• AI-generated material may not be protected by copyright in every country, including India. We make no promise that an Output can be registered or enforced as your copyright.
• AI models can produce similar Outputs for different users. You do not get exclusive rights to an Output that someone else independently creates.

5.2 The Licence You Give Us

You give us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, store, copy, process, resize, translate and display your Inputs and Outputs only to run the Services for you: making your creations, showing them to you, exporting them, moderating them and keeping the service safe.

We show your creations to the public only when you choose to — by making a share link public or submitting a creation to Explore. You can withdraw this at any time by making the link private or deleting the creation; it then stops being shown publicly. We cannot recall copies others have already downloaded.

We do not use your Inputs or Outputs to train our own AI models.

5.3 Our Platform

All Chitravala software, templates, designs, layouts, voices catalogue, code, logos and trademarks are owned by Amazia Technologies (OPC) Private Limited or its licensors. You may use templates only to make creations on Chitravala. You may not copy, resell or redistribute the templates or the Platform itself.

6. AI Content and Labels

• AI can be wrong. Outputs may contain mistakes — wrong spellings, odd details, inaccurate translations or pronunciations. Check every creation before you share it.
• "Made with AI" labels. Every file you export carries "Made with AI" metadata, and some pages show a visible "Made with AI" mark. You must not remove or hide these labels, and you must not present AI-generated content as a real photograph, recording or event.
• Synthetic media rules. You must follow India's IT Rules on synthetically generated information and any other law requiring AI content to be disclosed.

7. Coins, Plans and Payment

7.1 Coins

• Creations cost coins. The price is shown before you create, and the app never asks you to pay more after you start.
• Coins are not money. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged, and cannot be cashed out.
• We give signup coins when you join and, when available, one free coin a day that expires at midnight India time if not used.
• Coins expire as set out for each type in the app: plan coins at the end of each plan month (with any roll-over up to the plan's limit), coin packs after their stated validity, and promotional, coupon and referral coins on the date shown when you get them.
• If a creation fails, is cancelled before it finishes or is blocked by moderation, its coins are returned automatically. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
• We may set fair-use limits, such as a maximum number of creations per day.

7.2 Free Launch

At launch, Chitravala is free to use and no payments are taken. Paid plans and coin packs are shown for information and cannot be bought yet.

7.3 Paid Plans and Coin Packs (When Launched)

When payments launch, you will be able to buy monthly plans (which include a monthly coin allowance) and one-time coin packs. Prices will be in Indian Rupees (INR), shown with GST before you pay, and a GST tax invoice will be issued for every purchase (GSTIN: 06ABCCA5405F1Z5). Payments will be processed by Razorpay (UPI, cards, net banking and wallets, and UPI AutoPay for plans). We will not store your full card number, CVV or UPI PIN. Any plan that renews automatically will say so clearly before you pay, and you will be able to pause or cancel it in the app. We will publish the full payment terms before payments go live.

7.4 Price Changes

We may change coin prices of creations, plan prices and pack prices for the future. A change never affects coins you already hold or a plan period you have already paid for.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We do not promise that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that Outputs will meet your expectations, be accurate, or be free of third-party rights. Features that depend on third-party providers (for example video or voice) may be paused or changed.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim related to the Services shall not exceed the greater of ₹5,000 or the total amount you have paid us in the 3 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Amazia Technologies (OPC) Private Limited from claims arising from your Inputs, the creations you share, your breach of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, or your violation of any person's rights (including their rights in their likeness or privacy).

11. Suspension and Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Account in the app, or by emailing support@chitravala.com. Deletion works as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may remove content, warn, limit or suspend an account, or terminate it, for breaches of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, repeated moderation blocks, abuse of free coins, legal takedown requests, or chargebacks. Where it is safe and lawful, we will tell you why. Coins in a suspended or terminated account are forfeited.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced with at least 14 days' notice. Continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Gurgaon, Haryana, India.

14. Dispute Resolution

Before pursuing legal action, contact us at support@chitravala.com or our Grievance Officer and allow 30 days for resolution. Consumer disputes may also be raised through the National Consumer Helpline (1915) or the e-Daakhil portal.
